BrandBee is a legitimate rewards app rebranded from Mobile Performance Meter. It’s user-friendly, with a clean interface and diverse reward options. However, earning rates are low—most surveys pay $0.30–$0.50, and receipt payouts are minimal. The app excels at passive receipt scanning, but heavy time investment is needed for modest returns. Best for users who enjoy casual tasks and value gift-card rewards over cash.
Earning Potential
Users earn through surveys (≈$0.30–$0.50 each), playing branded games, watching videos, scanning receipts for cashback. Passive earning via “Magic Receipts” but overall payouts are low.

I found a strange app on my phone called BrandBee, which turned out to be Mobile Performance Meter under a new name. When I tried to launch it, the app treated me like a new user and asked me to register again. The experience has been frustrating. The update forces location access, then fails to open with a “Something went wrong” message, though it still runs in the background. Unlike before, I’m not getting my 10 points a day or the $3 Amazon gift cards I requested. Others have had similar issues with missing rewards and poor layout. Some users said they received emails promising that points would carry over to the new app, but I never got one. Mobile Performance Meter worked fine and gave consistent Amazon gift cards, so this change feels unnecessary and disappointing.

I’ve been using this app since it was Mobile Meter Manager. Back then, I liked earning 10¢ a day and being able to cash out at just $1. Sometimes that small amount really helped me in a bind. Now it only pays 5¢ a day, and the minimum cash-out is $3. Most of the games are filled with excessive ads, to the point where some have an ad almost every other move. A few games also make it nearly impossible to reach the goals they promise for points. On top of that, surveys rarely work out for me. I usually get rejected because they want people in finance or higher-level jobs, not someone like me. Overall, it just isn’t as fun or worthwhile as it used to be.
