I started using the Earn App by Mode to save money for a puppy and wanted to document my experience since there aren’t many detailed reviews available. I’m a housewife, so I have more time than most people, and my results may differ from others. Right now, I’m on the Club Benefits Trial, which supposedly increases earnings. Once I receive my first PayPal payment, I might try the Annual Club Benefits plan. After one day, I noticed several ways to earn with this app. You can listen to music across many channels without needing high volume, but you must earn “Earning Time” first through other activities. Games, news reading, and watching videos all help you earn points and extend your music earning time. Reading news and watching videos have daily limits, but they add up steadily. You can also earn while charging your phone, though that method seems slower. The surveys are hit or miss since many screen you out, and other survey apps perform better. There’s also an Inbox feature that connects to your email, but I didn’t use it because it feels risky. After about 48 hours, I have a $0.50 payout pending, which the site says takes 2–7 days to process. I’ve earned over $10 so far and will wait to confirm the payout before continuing.

According to EarnApp’s website, you can earn money by promoting the app through referrals and offers on platforms like YouTube or TikTok. The company also claims users can make “big money” by sharing unused device resources. While this idea is similar to projects like SETI@home, where people donate computing power for research, the difference is that EarnApp’s parent company, Bright Data Ltd., doesn’t disclose who uses your resources, how they’re used, or how much profit they keep. Bright Data has a reputation for operating on the edge of legality in data scraping, and Meta has even filed a lawsuit against them that’s moving forward quickly.
