I tried Mistplay on a spare Android device to see how much I could realistically earn before the rewards slowed down. On the first day, everything felt heavily boosted, and I earned about $20 in just two days by running games while feeding my baby. After that, the pace dropped, and it became harder to make much unless I constantly cycled through new games. At one point, I earned $40 in a month, but it took a lot of effort. On average, I’d say I make about $20 a month without pushing too hard, though during good stretches I’ve managed $50 to $100 depending on time spent. The sign-up process was straightforward, only asking for my email, although some users reported being asked for a facial scan. I personally never had to provide my home address or phone number. I’ve redeemed points multiple times for gift cards, including Amazon, Google Play, and Walmart, without any issues. I also noticed the app doesn’t reward you for progress in games; it mainly tracks time spent tapping or interacting. The biggest drawback is that it can “run dry” after a while, with fewer boosted games and lower payouts, which makes it feel less worthwhile.

It does work, but the payout depends on how much you play. Since I’m not a big phone gaming person, I only make about $10 a month. My kid, who plays a lot more, can earn $10–$20 a week. The payout process is quick once you reach the minimum. I recently got a $50 Amazon card, and the code was sent directly to my email. It took over 40 hours of play to get there, so it’s not fast money. If you already enjoy games like Candy Crush or other casual mobile games, the rewards add up and feel like a nice bonus. Over two years, I’ve cashed out more than $500 in gift cards as a casual player. PayPal cash-outs also work, usually $10 or more weekly when I focus on “hyper” or “fastest” games. The only drawback is that rewards slow down the longer you play the same game, but you still keep earning.
