I’ve had a lot of luck with the “Sport Life (Leaning car guy)” Ncrave on MyPoints. Since the 8th of this month, I’ve earned about 1800 points after realizing I could double dip there. Other than that, I just hit the daily five and double dip on grocery coupons. I even took a money maker on Swagbucks, and when the MyPoints extension popped up, I hit it too. Both credited me, which was a nice surprise. I’m still deciding if it’s worth keeping the subscription for another month. My main goal with MyPoints is to get a $25 Amazon card every other month, but it looks like I’ll hit that sooner than expected. I work from home, so running these in the background is convenient, though it slows down my computer—even though it’s a gaming rig. I wouldn’t recommend it for weaker setups.

I may have found a passive video earner through MyPoints. The platform has been around for a while and was originally focused on earning points when shopping. Last year they mentioned developing a video app, but I forgot about it until today when I revisited the site and saw the app ready to install. I tried it out. The setup is simple. Watch a video and a commercial, then repeat. After 9 videos, you earn points. I let it run and received 5 points without needing to do anything. Once a cycle finished, the app automatically started another. Based on what I saw, 780 points equals a $5 gift card, with smaller options like a $3 Amazon card also available. One video ran 12 minutes, but most were around 40 seconds, paired with 30-second ads. I haven’t tested it on multiple phones, but compared to Perk, which doesn’t work well for many, this seems like a more stable passive option. It also runs on desktop if you don’t want to use your phone.
