I signed up with an email and got the 5,000 points ($5) signup bonus, but when I tried to figure out how to redeem it, I saw in their FAQ that the minimum cashout is 25,000 points ($25). That immediately made me suspicious, since it’s much higher than the signup reward.

I’ve been using PointClub for a while and was able to cash out for a gift card last week. I wasn’t sure how long it would take to receive it since the site doesn’t explain that clearly. From what I’ve experienced, the surveys are straightforward, and you do earn a small amount of points even if you get disqualified, up to about five times a day. Cashing out starts at $25 for gift cards like Target, PayPal, Starbucks, restaurants, or even charity donations, but I didn’t notice Amazon as an option. The main drawback is how long it takes to build up points and then actually receive rewards. Some users have mentioned it can take two weeks or more because points first go into a pending period, and only after that can you wait again for the gift card. While I like that it pays better with a higher streak and gives something for disqualifications, the wait time makes it feel slow and a bit frustrating.
