Prime Opinion is not legit. I spent a lot of time completing surveys and built up a decent balance, but my account was suddenly closed without warning. When I contacted support, I only received generic copy-paste replies with no explanation, no help, and no payout. It seems they let users earn a little at first, but once you reach a certain point, they shut you down and keep the money. I’ve seen others online with the same experience, so it’s clearly a pattern. There are far more transparent and honest platforms out there, so this one is not worth the time.

I spent hours on Prime Opinion and got screened out of almost every survey, often after answering several minutes of demo questions. At first, I saw a few well-paying surveys, but soon most were 15 minutes or longer for less than a dollar. Sometimes surveys I had already completed showed up again, wasting even more time. Customer support is nonexistent. If a survey breaks or takes much longer than promised, there’s no help. I once spent 12 minutes on a tax preparation survey only to be screened out at the end, after they had already collected all my data. Scammers are starting to appear, and surveys often feel like bait-and-switch situations. After hours of work, I made only a few dollars, and many times I couldn’t even cash out. Prime Opinion feels more like MTurk than Prolific, but without the support or safeguards. Unless you are desperate for money and don’t mind the risk of being exploited, it isn’t worth the hassle.
