Payments are made per bug, usually around $2 for low-priority issues and up to $7 or more for critical ones, depending on the project.

I find testIO more productive than spending 10 to 15 minutes on survey sites. I don’t need to be an expert to get paid work. I simply act like a user testing an app or website to order a product or service. If I notice missing product images, broken links, a carousel that doesn’t work, or a site crashing, I report it and get paid. Even when I can’t find bugs, I can earn by checking reports from other testers. If their bug is approved, my reproduction report gets paid too, as long as it meets the quality needed. For visual or content bugs, I earn €1 each. Functional bugs pay between €2.20 and €6.60 depending on severity, and high-priority tests can pay €10 to €15. Reproduction reports usually pay 10% of the bug’s value, with a maximum of €0.50. There are also “user story” tasks that pay a fixed amount for checking a section of an app or site, along with occasional paid test cycles for active users. Unlike UserTesting, I don’t need to show my face or use my voice. I only upload a screencast or screenshot showing the bug, which makes it introvert-friendly. TestIO offers consistent tasks. Adding all devices I own, including Xbox or smart TV, helps me qualify for more cycles. They provide training courses and tests before starting paid cycles. In my first month, with no prior testing experience, I earned about €50. Payments are made monthly.
