I heard about them and wanted some input to see if they’re worth the trouble. They do pay out and have a lot of surveys, but for every one you qualify for, there are many you won’t. Univox, in my experience, is annoying and hard to use. The $25 minimum payout is high compared to other sites, and I don’t think it’s worth it. I’ve done a couple of random focus groups before that paid $100 plus lunch, which felt much better. Someone suggested checking out L & E Research since they offer a wide range of opportunities. I also tried two focus groups where the first one went fine and I got paid, but the second time my partner used a different platform and got paid four times more than I did. That made me feel like my time wasn’t valued, so I stopped using them.

I used the platform for about 5–6 months. My first cashout took just over a month, the second took 28 days, and the third 25 days. In total, I redeemed three times. At first, it worked, but by July 2022 things changed. They removed PayPal, and my points were reimbursed instead of paid out. I had no option for Amazon gift cards. After a month, I did get paid, but the company started going downhill. They raised the minimum threshold from $10 to $25, reduced survey frequency and rates as accounts aged, and even banned users after redemptions. That’s when I decided to leave.
