I’ve been using ReceiptJar for about 2 weeks. I haven’t cashed out yet, but I see no red flags that suggest it isn’t legit. It works almost the same as other receipt apps I’ve used, and those have paid me out multiple times. Right now, I use 10 different receipt apps to maximize earnings. I can confirm payouts from Fetch, ReceiptHog, and Swagbucks/Tada. I recently added ReceiptPal, ReceiptJar, CoinOut, Pogo, Frisbee, Merryfield, and Copper. I haven’t earned enough on those yet to cash out, but based on past results and others’ feedback, I’m confident they’ll pay. Apps like these profit from selling user data, and what they pay out is only a small fraction of what they earn. Since data is being sold online anyway without compensation, I consider this a fair trade. At least I get something back. I don’t doubt ReceiptJar’s legitimacy. I’ve used many “beer money” apps over the years, and I can usually tell if one is unreliable

I had about $75 saved on Receipt Jar and was aiming for $100 before cashing out. Then everything disappeared—no history, no points, nothing. I emailed support, but I doubt I’ll get it back. It’s not the end of the world, but it’s frustrating to lose money like that.
